Lovely gingko leaves

I had the good fortune to live many years in New York, on the doorstep of Central Park. There was nothing more delightful that to find my favorite bench dusted with the fallen yellow gingko leaves. I always loved their pure form and beauty, and then I learned that in the East they’ve long been considered a symbol of hope, resilience and peace. So what better illustration for the sentiment on this card: “Thinking Of You.”

A Star Is Born

I’ve always loved the brilliant colors of Matisse’s cut-outs — that wonderful, graphic juxtaposition of colors. This card was inspired by him, and also by those gorgeous starry nights you find deep in the French countryside. The kind of night anyone would be delighted to have on their birthday.

Flamingos found!

Flamingo Boxed Sets

Often our best cards start out with our friends. A wonderful new friend here in Palm Beach recently told me how much she loved flamingos, but how rarely she found a good flamingo card. J. Falkner to the rescue! We designed a small correspondence card specially for her, and then created an everyday and birthday card that we can share with all our customers — and the other flamingo fans out there.
